What is Drug Slang?

Simply put, street names, or the language of drug users. Much of the time, these terms become widely known, thanks to the media and word-of-mouth. They often originate, however, as a way to refer to illegal substances covertly while avoiding words more likely to raise suspicion.

For example, WebMD offers a teenage drug slang dictionary to give parents inside information.
